It's definitely cheaper as shows do it all the time in gutting the past and surrounding the veteran talent with cheaper parts around them.It's probably cheaper to team Tariq/Tommy together then have separate shows. Starz is gonna be BMF/Power Origins(continuation from raisin kanan) and whatever show combines tariq/tommy(continuation from ghost/force)
What's crazy is BMF is gonna end up with more seasons than anything else
Storyline wise it works as well considering both have overstayed their welcome in their current cities and Tasha/Kate potentially being the catalyst to bring them together again.
Notice I say both and not Brayden as he's not necessarily needed

Only got room for one whiteboy sidekick who is down. I can see Brayden trying to go back to his family or "going straight" and sticking with school.
Tariq and Brayden on some Kennan and Ken shyt in real life lol I don't see them breaking that up.
Why can't they? Brayden has taken on projects without Tariq and vice versa.
