Tariq doesn't know that though. Tariq doesn't even know anything about the Sean situation and a lot of Tasha has done, so it would make perfect sense that he'd favor her over his pops who left the family for someone else. I think people forget that.
A lot of the beef with Ghost and Tariq could have been avoided had he just been upfront and honest with him especially on the night that they almost got killed. It was only going to be so long they could keep that life hidden from them especially they got older and started being aware of what was going on.
In fact, Lorenzo criticized Monet for doing the exact same thing with Zeke that ended up causing him to get killed in having him being naive to what was going on around him.
