What I'm saying is that Monet was going to have to tell Zeke at some point anyways because if she didn't tell him, then Dante would have when they actually met which could explain why she had the book and birth certificate that accessible in her room and not in hiding.
I get what you mean, I just disagree. If Zeke dosn't believe her, a 3 way call or visit to his adopted mother takes care of all of it. Her biggest secret, and she keeps the evidence badly hidden, not under lock and key, AND her husband is back? She can't be that dumb.
The storyline is already border lining on insult because if he went to the DMV to get his ID Card or license, then it would have came out anyways that his birthday was a fraud. That's also not accounting for the fact that it would have already came to light anyways the instant he got arrested for murder episodes ago or showed up on TV to do the interview.
No. Once he was adopted and whatever fakery got into the system as an infant, that's it. Monet and/or the adopted moms either lied and/or bribed someone to falsify his records. Boom, done. Who's investigating a random kid's info? Zeke could deny it to whoever. Unless they found that Birth Certificate Diana did, they have zero. Then, he has 19 years of paperwork saying that's not him. They get the hospital records deleted, that's it forever.
It's the typical Tyler Perry storyline added sorely for shock value that we love to complain on The Coli, so we gotta keep that same consistency here.
