^ right? They finally making Tariq learn not just who Ghost was, but just how BIG and ahead of the game Ghost was. All these other nikkas thought they had the game figured out and they JUST realizing how made they had it if they let Ghost be Ghost. shyt was just like Walt thinkin he had the world in his hands after he took Gus out

nikkas been failing tripping over themselves every other second not realizing Ghost woulda NEVER had the family lookin this crazy

Also, Caine shoulda looked at Tariq sideways as soon as he broke the fukkin game down about his uncle in his face, shoulda stared at his ass like "how the fukk you know all of that?" nikka even hit him with the "yo uncle never been happy to see you!" :russ:

not gon lie tho..
I wanted to see Tommy in the distance at the funeral

Also, it ain't Power if we don't have a fukkin sex scene out of nowhere and somebody gettin fukkin bodied

Another strange thing, is how does Monet not seem to have never heard of the name Tariq St. Patrick if everyone in the show has/does? Everyone seems to know who he is except the Tejada family :mindblown:
i don’t think it’s that she’s doesn’t know he’s James st Patrick’s son, she doesn’t know why he’s coming around and why he knows the game. Unless you did business with Ghost, he was just James St Patrick who went from the hood to club owner to candidate for Lt Governor, you wouldn’t expect his kid to know the streets like that.

But everyone in the show seems to know of Tariq St. Patrick and his father dying on the news, along with his mom being on trial for his murder. She seems to know none of it eventhough we are talking about a high profile case.

Where has that been established? Every time she asks about him it’s more about why he comes around and why he knows shyt, not that she doesn’t know he’s the son of the dead James

Because if she knew that his father was murdered and his mom was on trial for it, then she wouldn't be asking for information about him. Not to mention the Raina's death would have been on the news when it happened.

Not sure why those things mean she wouldn’t be asking for information. Again, James was just a regular successful dude to the public. And Tasha is saying she was abused and that’s why she killed James. He had his kids in boarding school - it’s assumed Riq would be a regular square kid with an unfortunate turn in the domestic lives of his parents. But little things have come out to rouse her suspicion about him. Again, nothing about his paper background would lend to him wanting to be around that family and spitting street game. She’s trying to figure out what lies beneath

That's still not explaining how she doesn't seem to know of the St. Patrick name. She didn't even put two and two together until Tariq came asking for the Plan B bill. The show is leading us to believe that Monet and her family doesn't know anything of Tariq and who his mother/father is.

Again, please point to where she doesn’t know the St Patrick name. Nothing shows she doesn’t know that name as a public name, that scene wasn’t the connection of Riq to the St Patrick name either, it plays more into why he might be latching onto the family - knowing they can help his mom inside. Not sure what you’re watching but Monet clearly is suspicious of people, and Riq is the supreme suspicious dude - what people know of him on paper, he should be a square, but he’s shown he knows the game so she wants to know more about him...it’s that simple.
