I honestly don't get the high reviews and how so many of y'all liked this series premiere and were some of the main ones who were trashing all of season 6.

How does this episode equate to greatness and hold ones interest for the rest of the season? It felt like a chore to get thru the episode. Method Man feels like he's just playing Method Man in a suit. Mary is just a new Jukebox. And ol boy who's name I don't remember is supposed to be a Kanan-esque character? It all just feels like Power: The Great Value version.

She’s a red bone. That’s light skinned. She’s certainly not darkskinned. She’d be in the house 200 years ago. If she went over to Africa, in most countries there, she’d be called colored or white.

Disagree. That’s lightskinned. I feel like a lot of y’all are that complexion and don’t like being called lightskinned so y’all come up with these weird justifications for why you’re not. If it was the 1800s some white slave owner would be trying to buy her because she looked exotic or she’d be in the house.
