Been in Brewerytown for 3 years now. Love it. Feels like its close to everything (Center City, West Philly, Fairmount, NoLibs, etc)

Nah my fam stay across the bridge in lower merion shyt i left west oak lane N west philly at 7th grade and stay out there In LM until the end of college but manayunk is ass in my opinion And temple ain’t changing til the hood nikkas n shooters are done with

nah i got my real estate license with KW (i only do referrals now) and i know mad people that own bars and restaurants....manayunk is arrived ...up-and-coming is like how Point Breeze was 5-7 years ago empty lots and abandoned housed next to newer construction now that shyt is straight booming

there ain't no frequent violent crime or shootings in manayunk never on the news...blocks are clean white folks jogging and biking everywhere....Main street is legit clean with shops and festivals and shyt....manayunk is out the way for those living closer to center city but it's definitely not "up and coming". maybe you're thinking of Strawberry Mansion?

Temple area real estate is booming and definitely up and coming i graduated in 05' and it is complete different before you couldnt go more than 2 blocks either way from Broad now that shyt expanded heavily....as far as up and coming temple area is definitely that...they are even re-branding the area "Temple Town"

chestnut hill is very established there are some dope homes out there it's almost not even philly but great area to raise a family or just get away from the city without entirely living in it
