I remember staying in Frankfurt for a weekend.

It was .... interesting.

A little different than KOP and the Rittenhouse area I was used to.

From the early to the mid-90s. When I went there it was still a gang of white kids and Italians going there.

:russ: I am talking late 90s into the 00s breh. Yeah OBP is what I call Overbrook Park use to be a Jewish neighborhood until it became a black middle class neighborhood. The Jews are starting to move back though.

My family was one of the first black families and that neighborhood back in the day. It's totally different if you go there now. It was literally like no black people up there. It was 85% Jewish and like 11% Italian. On the other hand Overbrook and when I say Overbrook I mean everything going west of 63rd Street was Italian or Irish but mostly Italian. And the closer you got it's 63rd Street where the Market Street L runs the more Italian the neighborhood got. When I get out imma do a breakdown of how that whole section of West Philly changed once black people moved in.

yeah shyt crazy how it changed so quickly. The majority of the whites who left those hoods went to Delaware County. My wife uncle and dad back in the 60s wanted to buy properties throughout West Philly and was denied because the whites didn’t want them to own houses around there.

North Philly was the same way
