It was abrupt. Seems like they needed more time to flush things out. The cartel sister/mother angle came out of nowhere and it was obvious she was behind the assassination attempt when it first happened.

But yeah, overall a classic for sure.

Also, the car accident they had seemed pretty inconsequential despite it being foreshadowed to be some big major thing. Or did I miss something?

The ending was meh.

I wanted to stab Wendy in the eye with a rusty knife. She got on my nerves so fukking bad. When she called for Camila without telling Marty, it sent my hate for her character over the edge. Ugh. I wanted her to die and let Marty and the kids be truly free from all of the bullshyt.

It's about intent

Since season 1 Marty has gone above and beyond trying to maneuver and find ways out of the game, and Wendy finds ways to put them right back in the bullshyt.:mjlol:

Because deep down she loves the game. She loves having people's lives in her hands. She loves seeing people's faces knowing she has leverage over them. Look at her Karen smile anytime she has the upper hand(that shyt is legit terrifying:huhldup:)

This season it came to a tipping point. Look at how Marty reacts to her:mjlol: the scene where she talks about keeping control over Navarro and Marty is like :dwillhuh:we're never in control

Again look throughout the seasons. Helen, Omar, and Camilla gravitated to Wendy because they saw a kindred demonic spirit. You think she ain't :takedat:anytime she's called Nelson to put in work?

It beats me how you find this bytch defensible in any way:mjlol:

And hell even to your horrible mother point. Show me a horrible mother and I'll show you an evil bytch. They're often one and the same
We just seem to have different views on what constitutes evil:yeshrug: Wendy is a very bad person who probably has antisocial personality disorder but that doesn’t make her evil. What Innocent person did she harm or fukk over during this show, :patrice:
I’m truly trying to think back to see if I’ve forgotten something since you’re so adamant she’s evil, but I’m not coming up with anything . Please list some examples of innocents she did wrong?

It was very good.

I didn't "like" how it ended.. but I like that I didn't like it.?

For it to have ended the way I wanted it to end would be sort of boring.. for it to end the way it was "supposed" to end would be a little boring.

This ending was disturbing and a bold statement and thought provoking. It bummed me out a little and it made me face some hard truths.

That's a pretty interesting outcome. So even though I didn't "like" it, it was very well done.

You GETS IT. Which is why I actually loved the ending. Especially Wendy saying "SINCE WHEN", because as much we wish it wasn't true, she spoke THE TRUTH. Indirectly, it reminds me of The Greek from the Wire. Out of everything that's happens in the Wire through the entire series, the Greek ALWAYS come unscathed in large part of how he positioned himself in a role where he's virtually untouchable, even having the FBI in his pocket. Or even a better example being Clay Davis. No matter what they put on Davis, he ALWAYS came out smelling like roses. I think THIS is different with the Byrde's is that most people WANTED and WISHED for their demise in some form and it left a sour taste that it never really happened.

Right? Nikka went to the cave and waited for the bears to come back:russ:. What did he think was gonna happen?

Dude had an ego and his pride got the best of him and wanted to rub it in their faces that he figured it out.

Yerp. They "should have" went out like Scarface or Heisenberg

Or

I would have liked for Ruth Less to win.

But I got let down. And made to look at an unjust Universe... Which is all to much like the real one.

Movies and shyt usually try to endorse the idea of Karma and justice but when you look around..

You can't quite find those things often enough to truly believe in them
