What did she do that was evil:usure:
Have you watched the show?:russ:

You do understand that Wendy LOVES this shyt right??? That mama bear shyt only goes but so far as an excuse

Wendy loves the power plays. She loves eliminating competition and angling for leverage. Navarro always saw right through to her soul and knew exactly what she was

Think about Omar, Helen, and now with this season Camilla. They always gravitate to Wendy because they know she'll go to the darkness not only because she wants to keep her family safe, but because she gets off on the power. Watch any scene where Wendy feels like she has the leverage. She's horny off the power

Again watch that scene where she confesses her need to control people to her kids. That was only a glimpse into the dark soul of Wendy

That's why Wendy should always be compared to Walter White. Because at a certain point Walt LOVED the meth game and the Heisenberg mythos

I can't quote anyone:francis:

The ending was right in line with the theme of the show, you should have seen it coming.

One of the few shows I've seen that seems like it was thought out from start to finish.

That said, it's almost like they forgot to mention why Nelson was all of a sudden following Ruth :stopitslime:
This

The characters in this series have remained consistent while developing from beginning to end

That shot of Marty and Wendy looking proudly at Jonah:wow: then looking at Mel like :mjpls::sas1:

Marty finally accepted it:wow:

Why was Nelson going after Ruth again? I know Wendy wanted him to scare the other chick but going after Ruth??

Besides that point, what was the logic in him following her and then just going to her crib for some reason when he saw her at the police station so he knew she was there?? He could have just went in the back seat of the whip and killed her if anything..
Why was he after her?
Because of her taking the casino from Marty. The sole purpose of that Casino is laundering Navarros money

Even if she didn't kill Javi she signed her death warrant with that move

I was entertained but I wasn’t feeling the ending after thinking about it more to be honest. I thought they had the table set up pretty well for one last showdown between Wendy and Ruth, so it felt weird to let Camilla have that last moment instead seeing as her character just got introduced.

It also felt out of character for the show to do Ruth like that but still have the Byrdes get out so cleanly (they hammered home the point that the Byrdes use people and have derailed/ended so many lives… and then they get no comeuppance). I assume they swerved like that on purpose but it felt out of place with all the previous table setting.[\spoiler]
They got their comeuppance. they just didn't die.

and clare didnt rat on them for some reason, maybe cause they were standing right there with her
The show has a heavy overarching theme of white privilege and even taps into the nuances that exist within the white community. Claire didn't see Ruth's life as valuable compared to the Byrds. She was just some backwater hillbilly. Wendy said it best in the final scene when Mel was talking about how the world "works".

If Camilla had of threw in one more of them get of jail free cards to see if she was coming clean about the byrds, her ass would have folded and told on them in their face. She was shook:russ:

It was mentioned earlier in the thread (I can't quote mufukkas :why:) but Camilla is a dope character. Wish they introduced her earlier in the series. No spoilers from me, but it was an OK ending to a dope series. It's still fukk Wendy Byrde tho
which she was introduced earlier as well, would have gladly had her instead of weak ass Javi. shes up there with del and helen as far as menacing drug lords. shoot she may be top 2 villain (she broke shawty down at the end and shawty snitched quick as fukk lol)

Good lord this was a trash ending, writing got ridiculously bad.

Loved episode 8, even with the forced cameo, but other than that this was pure basura. Even the tie back to the season premiere was useless garbage. I don’t care enough to write all the issues I had with the writing, but it would be a very long list. While the first half of the season kept me thoroughly entertained despite the writing drop off, the second half dragged. They could’ve/should’ve wrapped this up in a standard 10 episode season.

That doesn't make any sense. Camilla asked right then and there if the Byrds knew and she said no. The fact that she was even laughing and socializing with Wendy after everything that went down tells you everything.

The evil thing..

If you look at it, the people who died were basically just moving too sloppy. Wendy and nem had to help a couple mfs to leave the physical plane but it was never out of greed or animosity.

Normally they tried to warn the people and convince them to get out the way. But once all the weight of the game came down the Byrdes made the necessary moves to slide thru as clean as possible.

And sometimes that meant collateral damage. Even drug lords, cops, and assassins could get it.

If you knew them, all you would have to do is get down with the program.. or your ass is grass.

Edit: and shorty rock started to against the grain near the end there.. and they couldn't save her

The fact that y'all so steadfast against this shyt is hilarious:mjlol: especially with the bolded

You ever watch a 90s boom bap rap video on YouTube and read the comments? Those cacs saying shyt like :smugdraper: now this is that real hip hop. Not like that bullshyt out today" THAT'S Ruth

And she doesn't only listen to hip hop that's just the backdrop for the plot. The very first scene of this season is Ruth and Wyatt naming intros to albums. One was a Beatles album another was Taylor Swift

These old rules and contexts y'all exist in don't exist anymore.

And again these are universally praised, ubiquitous multi platinum albums. Y'all acting like she was riding around listening to Jedi Mind Tricks:russ:

It's fukkin Nas and Wu Tang:mjlol:
Exactly
It's these young cacs who fukk with golden age hip hop, so it is believable Ruth would listen to that type of music.

It's about intent

Since season 1 Marty has gone above and beyond trying to maneuver and find ways out of the game, and Wendy finds ways to put them right back in the bullshyt.:mjlol:

Because deep down she loves the game. She loves having people's lives in her hands. She loves seeing people's faces knowing she has leverage over them. Look at her Karen smile anytime she has the upper hand(that shyt is legit terrifying:huhldup:)

This season it came to a tipping point. Look at how Marty reacts to her:mjlol: the scene where she talks about keeping control over Navarro and Marty is like :dwillhuh:we're never in control

Again look throughout the seasons. Helen, Omar, and Camilla gravitated to Wendy because they saw a kindred demonic spirit. You think she ain't :takedat:anytime she's called Nelson to put in work?

It beats me how you find this bytch defensible in any way:mjlol:

And hell even to your horrible mother point. Show me a horrible mother and I'll show you an evil bytch. They're often one and the same
