Not even the spoiler tag is working on my end. Damn.
But I will say the ending was not good to me. I get the overall message The writers were aiming at; It was about how sometimes the wicked, rich & powerful don't always get the karma some wish they should get. I think the show also gave some insight on how in our society we see rich & powerful families but its never talked about how that money came from the mud and what they did to get to that status.
Just as a viewer. Wendy's character was one of the most disciple people I ever seen on film, and Marty being a docile beta didn't make it any better. When Wendy broke down to her father in front of the courtroom doing all that sobbing with no tears illustrated how much of a psychopath she really was.
Also they did this big foreshadowing with the car wreck when they got out of it walked away with barely a scratch, just questionable writing all around. Also Carmella wasn't any better. She found out the truth that her brother didn't have anything to do Javi getting killed but she still wanted that top spot.
For most of that series Ruth was unhinged, she was smart but very unhinged at times. With all the visions of Wyatt she was having, I figure it was foreshadowing her death. In the end I think Jonah is more like his mom & the daughter is more like Marty. Just a dangerous, selfish, family with a whole lot of money and power in the end.
