I’m sure someone mentioned this before, but ‘Tommy’ seems much more natural in this show than power. I feel like this is closer to his real personality

It's funny that you guys were talking about everyday man get into crime shows like this, breaking bad, and weeds.

When I was watching this I was like why can't there be a black show like that.
Then I thought for a minute and was like nah these shows are some white privilege shyt. If a regular breh tried doing all this bs the show would be over quick. The series premiere would be the series finale in one episode:russ:

I still enjoyed it though. Ruth better stay alive :birdman:

Arguably Season 1 of "Snowfall".

Franklin was selling weed with his uncle as a teenager when the series begins. His uncle’s (and aunt’s) connections to the underworld was key to his rise.

Walter White and Marty Byrds were middle aged men with no connections to the underworld yet they outsmarted season criminals and police alike.

Marty was already involved with his partner's criminal activity from long before the show started. It's just that he wasn't directly indebted to the cartel until the pilot episode.

Jessie?

Marty was on the run already from being in the game if you remember the first episode

Darlene's death was so satisfying :blessed:

I liked how Marty had to come save Jonah. It showed how despite Jonah being an arrogant prodigy, there are still levels to this and he's not on Marty's.

I think Javi moving so sloppy is cause he not built like Omar. Omar put in work and rose through the ranks of the cartel. Javi is the spoiled nephew who never wanted for anything or faced any consequences. Makes sense he'd be so reckless.

Yea, he was laundering money for the cartel, but that was it. He was just a vendor.

Franklin was already moving drugs before Snowfall started. He had drug dealers in his family and, again, used those family ties to get help him succeed.

Jessie and Walter weren’t friends. That’s my point, Walter was so far removed from the underworld his only tie in was some fukk up kid he failed years ago. And he only met Jessie as a middle aged square white man.

Marty was also a middle aged square white man with ZERO ties to the underworld when he started laundering money for the cartel. And if my memory is correct, his partner brought the cartel business to him.

Franklin grew up around the game. Spent his formative years learning from his uncle and even got experience moving weed to learn lessons with a lower stake drug. That’s how most drug dealers come up. Either from family or folks in their neighborhood. They pick up game (and connections) over the years and shoot their shot.

Back to Wendy she was a bored house wife who is now in over her head ....think her political ambitions were initially means to insulate her fam from all the fukkery than she started feeling herself
Wendy wasn’t a housewife. She was always in politics. That’s why she basically controls politics in the Ozarks.
