I think Javi moving so sloppy is cause he not built like Omar. Omar put in work and rose through the ranks of the cartel. Javi is the spoiled nephew who never wanted for anything or faced any consequences. Makes sense he'd be so reckless.

That is exactly the implication. He doesn’t know the game as much as he thinks. It’s very similar to Jonah.

Darlene and Wyatt walked in the house without the baby, Javi is there waiting for them with a gun.

Darlene says, "get Zeke!"

Javi kills them, and the baby starts crying.

Thats why I ain't mad Wendy calling DCFS on that bytch. Out here leaving infants at home unattended to.

I miss when Marty was more in charge and doing his slick talking thing to get him outta dodge. That's what made me love this show originally. He has become almost a back seat character and is always depressed now.

They let Wendy boss up and that’s perfectly fine and the actress does a good job of making it believable but Marty’s character has definitely regressed and I feel it hurts the show overall.


Also some of these plot points have grown overly cartoonish, there’s NO WAY this series is ever touching Breaking Bad from a writing stand point.

I also don’t like how they ended up utilizing agent Miller’s character. It was a MUCH better idea to have Marty try to “turn” her than the stupid shyt she ended up doing. And they should have gotten some black writers because ain’t no fukking WAY no Black woman is going “rogue” like that and putting her newborn child as WELL as herself at risk just to be on some “righteous” shyt. That was dumb fukking writing.

For a while I thought the private investigator was Helen's ex husband, would explain why he's so invested in this shyt

Helen’s ex was shown in season 3. She sent goons to kick his ass so he’d lay off asking for full custody

Why don't these shows cast actual Mexicans to play Mexicans? I know it doesn't matter to 99% of people but it's annoying.

What i’ve noticed with Netflix in particular is that they must have some kind of deal with a certain talent agency or casting agency because A LOT of these actors get reused from Netflix project to Netflix project. They probably don’t have a surplus of authentic Mexican actors and their just reusing the latino/Mexican looking actors that they already have in the pipeline

I'm only at episode 5, but it's clear that essentially every character on here is a piece of shyt from Darlene to Wendy, Jonah, Ruth and pretty much everyone else.

I can't think of any show focused on criminals have ever made being a criminal so unappealing as this.
