Why does Marty drive a 30 year old car, though? Is that a part of the story that I missed?

In episode 6 or 7 they had a flashback with his partner that was killed in episode 1. He was like I'm out here living it up and you make the same money and you drive a pos car. You don't have what it takes to pull the trigger or w/e. It was when they were looking for an office space.

The problem with Jonah is the problem with a lot of TV/Movie writing

There's this trope of the rebellious teen who's CARTOONISHLY obnoxious and stupid, making decisions that an untrained monkey wouldn't. Decisions that put not only the dumb ass teen at risk, but the entire family

It's in a LOT of shows that have a teenager. Hell just two seasons ago Charlotte was getting the hate Jonah is now for the exact same dumb ass annoying behavior

It's at best low hanging fruit writing
-them kids need they ass beat. This would never happen in a black crime family.
-wtf is Roof about to do to get revenge? She need to go sit her adolescent Timberlake behind down somewhere
-anybody else see a glimpse of Tommy come out when Roof gave Frank Jr the news?
-Zeke on this show>>> Zeke on "Power"

Reppin
Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I believe he referenced the fuel economy or some shyt like that back in Season 1:russ:
"Safest minivan in America" from the first season too... And that's while he had access to 8 million at least. And was still talking to his partner like "you sure we can afford this new office?" Never show the money

Basically showing Marty is always the smart one. If it was up to him and his ideas, everyone would be good. From day one. But there's always someone not listening, that gets him into these jams, then he has to outsmart his way out.

Why don't these shows cast actual Mexicans to play Mexicans? I know it doesn't matter to 99% of people but it's annoying.

Good season ... not great... The storyline involving the fbi and nephew is really testing my suspension of disbelief

But about Wendy...

Her brother was a loose canon....mentally ill...pulled a gun on Navarros lawyer and exposed her to her daughter right?... His actions upset the cartel endangering Wendy and the ppl she loved most... Something had to be done ...Obviously wasn't an easy decision to give him up hence Wendy's week long alcohol binge after the deed...not the behavior/reaction of a true pycshco path, sociopath

Ruth, who is directly responsible for the deaths of her uncles, should have left breh in the mental institution

Back to Wendy she was a bored house wife who is now in over her head ....think her political ambitions were initially means to insulate her fam from all the fukkery than she started feeling herself

Calling the FBI on Jonah was extreme but bruh is doing way too much. Snitched on them about the sheriff. Laundering money for Darlene who is a killer hot head and target of the cartel ...Wendy was desperate..

Reporting her brother missing I guess you can say is Wendy trying to play the grieving, concerned sister ...and yes it does help her political ambitions

What Jonah doesn't seem to get about his Uncle is that it don't matter if she oked the hit or not. He was a dead man either way, dude had to go

Wendy could have just went to the police lol...which prob would've ended in all their deaths still

But Jonah is only suppose to be 14

Guess we are to chalk it up to youth, emotional immaturity ... depression (he's being self destructive) ....anger needing someone to take his anger out on
