So what's the point of ending seasons then?

That's so fukking frustrating and I went off in my placement matches too

You are measured against the average of the hero for your rank.

If the average dps for 76 in plat is 15 k and your only putting out 10.
Your underperform and will drop you as it thinks your not contributing what you should.

The system however is skewed in that way.

Going 3-2 on a koth provides more SR than going 3-0.

Going 6-5 on a payload gives more than a x-0.

Because you do more during those longer battles.

More heals more dps more of everything,.

There should be alotmemts for quick matches but there isn't.
Ive stomped a team and only gotten 15sr

Fought 6-5 in overtime and got 60

In this healers suffer the most. Because a good team means little heals which the tracker reads as nothing done.


It's a horrible system but it's what we got.

But he's meant to own 1v1. Even add a reaper an any other offensive hero and he's done for..he has no defensive options whatsoever.

Kaplan is very far from the pulse, the OW community is done with DPS, they want more of everything else. Like idk, another healer, better and or actual tanks, not disruptors with no dmg and weak health. I like Orisa's kit, but they need to focus on making Winston strong.

Dude they turned him into an offensive tank, if he starts healing slightly before genji slashes him with his ult he can survive the entire duration of his ultimate. he can survive every bullet of a reaper ult as long as he heals and this is without ana's nanoboost

If you charge the nikka head on you deserve that L. Genji, Widow, Ana, and Roadhog's are still going to take his lunch, provided you don't run head first at him unless you're deflecting.

I don't know brah. I just played as him and I was unstoppable....I really think he is damn near a must have on teams now...I faced a team with Zarya, rein,genii, Ana and I could tell thier whole team tactic became stopping me and besides from getting put to sleep a few times, they had nothing.....he needs that nerf

this is overwatch forum copy/paste that has already been proven false .

the only thing that takes into your ranking after placements is your season ending rank of the previous season.

the placement matches meant nothing.

BUT there is a win bonus currently so get your wins in this week and higher chance to rank up this week compared to following months
