fukk it, after having my expectations flattened for years by Disney's stewardship of the franchise this is the best thing they've put out yet
Well yeah, from a meta standpoint Vader obviously can't die :heh: I"m just saying there's no in-story justification for Obi-Wan letting him go again. It was basically PIS (plot induced stupidity). They wrote it in a way where the protagonist had to do something that didn't really make sense just to fit canon.

They could have done something like have Palpatine/Inquisitors show up to help Vader (forcing Obi-Wan to flee) instead of just having Obi-Wan let him go.

Really?

Maybe he remembers that there was good in him.

Moreso than Luke could have, because Ben Kenobi remembers Qui-Gon's dying wishes. And knew pre-vader Anakin.

Anakin's narrative is a whole lot of people giving him the benefit of the doubt (qui gon, obi-wan, palpatine), and Anakin proving all of them wrong, at one point or another.

"It's over, Obi-Wan. I have the high ground." U know Vader was thinking that shyt to himself. I'm surprised he ain't say it. :snoop: Especially when there was a callback to Episode lll with Obi-Wan saying "I will do what I must" and Vader remixing the Anakin "You will try" to "You will DIE." That was cold. :picard:

I liked that Vader line:

"Your strength has returned...but the WEAKNESS remains!" :ehh:

I wanted to hear that Battle of Heroes theme when Obi Wan was fighting Vader. I woulda had the composer adapt that theme with elements of the Imperial March with a lil bit of the new Obi-Wan theme. I think it woulda added a lil more juice. Iont know. Maybe Samuel Kim can cook something up on YouTube.

I was waiting to see when they would use the Imperial March motif. When they cut to Mustafar, I knew they were gonna use it but I didn't like how it kicked in after Vader just got finished calling Palpatine master.

It felt like checking off boxes when Leia was talking to Obi-Wan at the end and her theme kicked in, followed by the Force motif as Obi Wan was leaving. Same thing with the famous "Hello there" to young Luke. Same thing with Qui-Gon. We all knew he was gonna pop up eventually. I mean, he was in an episode of Atlanta. So he had to make an appearance.

I told someone earlier they were waiting to use it because this wasn’t about the Empire or Vader. He straight up let that network ship survive because it didn’t matter to him.

As soon as Palpatine told him to get back to business… Imperial March.

Darth maul got chopped in half and healed up from the hate in his heart. Hate brings wolverine level healing powers in this galaxy

I'm wondering how the fukk on this whole planet, apparently there's only one farmer named owen
I'll always believe that Darth Maul should have been the main villain for the prequel trilogy.

Loved the series for the nostalgia especially the Vader scenes but i hope soon we go to an uncharted era so its a fresh story instead of people i know will survive.

Question for fans of the EU and the jedi order. How did they handle lil nikkas with dark side tendencies during training? Like was there a time out temple or like a sped ed academy where they medicated violent emotional motherfukkas or did they just “disappear” on some accident shyt cause no way let them grow up to be threats

Disney could run this back, Mando, Ashoka, and Bad Batch and basically hold Star Wars down until they figure out the movie situation.

disney should have been given the star wars keys to jon favreau. he more than proved himself with the 2 season of mando being the best thing star wars has done since being acquired by disney.

I would have more faith if he or dave filoni got the job but apprently both of them have said they don't want it. Just content to do what they do within their own shows.

I can see the hesitation, Star Wars fans are crazy. But the franchise does need a fresh but knowledgeable set of eyes.

Enough of the Skywalkers, time they moved on to something new for a while.
