hard to be original in Star Wars anymore. the entire episode was almost entirely recycled material down to another generic rescue mission on a rebel base with stormtroopers and Leia getting the Rey interrogation. i guess the water part was creative.

Loved the last Episode, that tomb was eerie as fukk. Obi-Wan starting to regain his mojo, the downgrade from Clonetroopers to Stormtroopers still full in effect and Ice Cube's son in this.
That last moment between Ben and Leia was beautiful. Felt like a tribute to ANH, I was expecting Ben to wear a Stormtrooper outfit.

To add more insult to injury, apparently one of their dumbass writers admitted to never watching episode 3...How the fukk do you get a writing job on this show without ever having watched ROTS?
Nah it wasn't, they ripped that from a video game called Jedi Fallen Order, complete with the swimming and mouth breather piece to infiltrate the Inquisitor base...Even the window breaking happens like that in the game having to swim through ST...i guess the water part was creative.

But yeah the water thing happened before in Fallen Order. You'd think the Inquisitor Fortress engineers would have learned from the first Jedi encounter and got glass reinforcements
Oh and another thing, I just re-watched the Star Wars prequel trilogy and yeah, overall they were terrible. The Phantom Menace & Attack of the Clones were mediocre/trash. Revenge of the Sith was just OK/decent. The prequels had some of worst acting I've ever seen and the CGI was laughable.
The acting in the prequels was so bad/stale that this Obi-Wan series deserves an Oscar
Not even Samuel L. Jackson was able to be charismatic or compelling.
The relationship between Padme and Anakin was the most inorganic and unromantic sh!t that I've ever seen

CGI Yoda was bushes status. The CGI overall was horrendous. Yeah, I know it was the late '90s and '00s but still it's aged like spoiled milk. T2 from 1991 had better CGI
Hayden Christensen's acting improved dramatically from AOTC to ROTS but still he was just OK at best in Revenge of the Sith.
The dialogue was terrible. The writers for the prequels should be ashamed of themselves.
Finally, most of the fight scenes were mid/trash
There's been some revisionist history going around in recent years about the prequels (especially due to Disney's Star Wars trilogy). Some people are saying that the prequels are "good", "underrated" and "not so bad". Nah, f*ck all of that - the prequels were GARBAGE.
I agree with most of this...but that Anakin vs. Obi Wan fight in Ep3 will always be classic.
And I don't really think the CGI is that bad. Not sure what you expect from the early 2000s. It was actually considered great CGI at the time.

this only exists as a small delivery system for more Vader. same as Rogue One. Rogue One was made so they can have that scene at the end.
Star Wars is creatively bankrupt. Baby Yoda is the most important SW character since the original movie, b/c without him, they'd be absolutely fukked right now. The end Vader scene came up during reshoots and was filmed just a few months before release

I for one need a whole series or at least a miniseries of Vader hunting down Jedi in between Ep 3 and 4. It should literally be the plot of The Force Unleashed game but probably without Galen Marek since theyll never make him canon. But they can just shoe in whatever random Inquisitor to fill the role of that character, shyt it could even be Reva idc. I just want to see Vader put the fear of GOD into somebody whose an actual THREAT. We've only really seen him bully grunts in the movies and Luke the 1st time they fought. Vader even at only 80% of his power with all the cybernetics is still a top 3 Jedi/Sith in the whole history of this shyt
