Watching the opening scene, I realised George really saved nikkas asses with Order 66 cos a lot of creatives dealing with Star Wars would be scrambling for action scenes and story setups otherwise

There's only been one "Mary Sue" and that's Rey. And when has Star Wars NOT had bad acting? It's cheesy dialog, bad acting, zany characters..but an awesome mythology.

Sometimes, I wonder if people realize what Star Wars is.

Young Leia was great. How could she be anything but like that as a 10 year old? She was mouthing off at the #2 and Top Goon when we first met her. She laughed at her rescue team, then grabbed the banger on some I gotta do it myself. She's practically lived a double life, in the capitol and kept up her street savvy.

Yeah, young Leia has all the traits of grown Leia....
I've just come to realize that there are dudes here that have made it their full time job to hate on Disney content. Humor, strong females and non- gruesome content are not allowed...so this show had very little margin for error from jump to not start getting the 'trash' label from those that are looking to do so

I agree with the bolded, but I don't think its because of the actress. Dialogue and direction is more the issue IMO.

This is leagues better than the Book of Boba, and its certainly better than some episodes of the Mandalorian. There are some valid criticisms of the show, but its definitely not bad.

They actually had to warn Moses Ingram(the actress) that the fanbase will hate her and be toxic. We know how these scumbags operate now. Any Black character that shows up anywhere in these major properties will receive pushback. They also increase the hyperbole tenfold when it comes to Black characters.

The over the top acting and the writing is hard to watch.

They should have just released all the episodes at once.

I thought this was going to be about Obi-Wan and Darth Vader as the two main characters.

Not interested in all this other filler and was until Vader woke up.

Disney bad with these shows. Just a bunch of fan service, bad acting forced diversity and inclusion. Nothing wrong with getting diverse just get the right people for the role.

What we see now is just bad acting and Mary Sue heroics because they are women

What is forced diversity? We know racist cacs used this when minorities are cast in their precious "White" commodities.

Also, hate to break it to ya, Star Wars has always had bad acting. Mark Hamill sucked, Hayden Christensen sucked, Jake Lloyd awful, even the acting vets like Portman, McGregor, Ford, MacDiarmid, Jackson could barely make the material work. MacDiarmid was especially cringy in Episode III>

Star Wars arguably peaked with Empire and has been going downhill since.
