I thought the first two episodes were pretty meh. I guess I expected something that felt a little more adult? The vibe I got from this was Saturday morning cartoon status or one of those syndicated action shows like the Lost World. Production value just felt cheap (lmao at that chase scene). Ewan definitely carried it.

I'll still watch but not too excited about the series going forward.

they are force sensitive, take orders from vader, and use light sabers? sounds like sith to me.

also, the show said they were former jedi that went to the dark side. so that too sounds like sith.

I mean if you take into acount everything from over the years including Legends/EU thats canon theres True Sith, Fallen Jedi, Grey Jedi, Nightsisters/Nightbrothers, and Inquisitors on the dark side, or at least able to use the dark side. Dooku, Anakin and the Inquisitors would be in the Fallen Jedi rank but only Dooku and Anakin rose to the height of legitimate Sith Lords because they turned full darkside after being Jedi and were already masters (or master level in Anakins case). Mace Windu would be a Grey Jedi because his fighting style is so strong he taps into dark side energy but hes able to cleanse himself of it. I think Quinlan Vos is an example of a Fallen Jedi that didnt become a Sith too. Finally you have Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress, Savage Oppress, and Starkiller who would be examples of ACTUAL Sith Apprentices . The Rule Of Two is a filter for who really is a Sith but there's lots of dark side users of varying degrees of power.

Obi-Wan is dead at the time of the Mando/Boba series. Episode 1-3 are the prerequisite for this.
