TBF thats not like he still cant do GLeague. Thats more of a pay scale thing/taking up a roster spot. It hurts the Lakers more than it hurts Bronny.

Reed spent years being the man in Kentucky HS and it shows. Easy confidence in his game, many reps of success and plays within control. Even though he's not the best ball handler or driver of the basketball he's still done it consistently. Good fit for Houston.

They not gonna want him stashed in the G League, and even if he did they not letting him run the point there. Yall really just dont see it.

Point of attack defense is solid, elite athleticism, he creates separation on his shot. I feel his shot release is too low though. Needs to work on that. Solid passser. He has good defensive instincts. Plays within himself. There is a good bit to like. But he is too undersized. That's why I feel he'll struggle in the nba.
Everything you say is true, but this points towards the failure (as of now) of Bron in handling his development. Thats pretty much how he was in middle school. He had all that stuff figured out then.

He needed to be forced to get out of his comfort zone to truly grow his game and adapt because he didnt get the growth spurt needed. Either the James family figured its best to just have him try to master that role or its best to leave him in that role. Cause mentally he'd defer or not challenge himself even if there was less talent/competition on the floor. Some guys are just like that.

Rob told him at the presser he needs to attack the rim more.

They passed on Jaquez last year for JHS because he was too old. Didnt want to make the same mistake plus he was graded as a top 10 pick/ready to play guy.

Dont know his upside but as long as he's a decent scorer off the bench he should be ok.

Drops 4/2/2 and he’s all over ESPNs front page

You’d think he went 40/20/20 :dead:

This stupidity is gonna quietly build so much resentment from other players, breh is about to be food every time he steps on the court

Best thing for his actual basketball development would’ve been 4 years in college then g league then maybe a fringe roster spot

But LeThots ego wouldn’t allow it, he needed to force this father son moment for clicks

It was funny hearing cats throw out names to compare him to.

Jrue, Pat Bev, Marcus Smart, Russ, Jimmy, Lavine, etc.

But what had me :dead: was when Marc Spears read Bronny's scouting report and it said "a poor man's Davion Mitchell" then we had to hear Ramona and others try to spin the comparison.

In reality it was lowkey disrespectful to Mitchell. He was an All-American, National DPOTY and National Champion at Baylor while playing in arguably the toughest conference in the country.

All those guys Bronny is being compared to has been that guy at the HS and/or College level. Or at least shown flashes. We've haven't seen that with him.

Honestly, it's more of an indictment on Bron than it is Bronny. It's okay if he doesn't have everything figured out at 19, but it's not fair to him if they speed through the process. So far, the path that has been taken is showing that it is not about Bronny developing into a quality NBA player, but to get Bron another milestone.
