"I grew up on Marvel Comics. They helped open my imagination, expanded my love for illustrated art, and even helped me with my writing. This is a dream in real life. Now my 6-year-old son is a huge Spider Man fan. He's going to love this!"

Why is there no sign of a Lost Tapes 2, let alone volumes 3, 4, 5 and 6.

It's already been announced that Lost Tapes 2 will be released following Nas's departure from Def Jam (with this upcoming final album) on Mass Appeal
It is a shame that there aren't more Lost Tapes volumes out. I think that Nas had enough quality music in the vaults to have put out a Lost Tapes volume every 4 years. he would now be on like volume 4 or something now. that would've been dope. He talks about the Lost Tapes being a movement; it would've really been a movement then.

Nas to Record On Mass Appeal Records; Will Release 'Lost Tapes 2' & Posthumous Pimp C Album
This has been announced. Mass Appeal already put out RTJ2, Fashawn's sophomore album The Ecology and Bishop Nehru's project.
LT2 will drop AFTER Nas is free and clear of Def Jam, the reason being (in my opinion) is because Mass Appeal is distributed by RED, which is owned by Sony. Sony owns the rights for all of Nas's unreleased material up to Streets Disciple (and probably Hip Hop Is Dead and Untitled as they "shared" Nas with Def Jam as part of his deal to move over there)
It would make sense for to drop LT2 with the full array of unreleased material from 20 plus years rather than only 8 or so from Def Jam
