Rapper Nas will headline what’s being billed as Winnipeg’s largest hip hop show of the year.

The Grammy-nominated rapper will perform at MTS Centre on Sept. 3 as part of YWG Loves Hip Hop. He is considered one of the great hip hop artists of all time, with five number one albums on the Billboard 200, tying him with Eminem and Kanye West for second place among rappers for all time.

Special guests at the Winnipeg show include Travis Scott and Tink, with local artists The Lytics and DJ DLO opening the show.

Tickets for the show range from $49.50 to $89.50 and go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster outlets.
