notice how the news on the record is "exceedingly" quiet? remember we even had nasty like a year before LIG came out?

Valid points and it would be cool if you are right but he has stated in some of these appearances that he's just now finding the direction that he would like to go in for the new album. Would be great if he's using misdirection and planning to drop soon but I don't think that's the case
