This Live google talk for Mass Appeal is pretty great. He is making some intelligent points about why Hip Hop puts people on and why there is a hustler spirit.

Definitely one of those interviews you wanna point to people to show he is intelligent

Nas' promo visibility has a lot to do with the TRUST AND LOYALTY he has with Anthony (the man with the master plan/mathematic genius and overall wise man) and the entire EMAGEN Entertainment (especially Gabe and Leslie). Nas is also very active in business investments and that also requires him to be seen more. Over his career, Nas has NEVER had the relationship of confidence and integrity that he and Anthony, Gabe and Leslie have built in the last 6 years. Nas is more comfortable being visible because his team is built on an alliance of moral uprightness. Nas can trust his LEGACY (music career, business ventures and finances) to be elevated to new hieghts because his management is truly GENIUS and in tune with Nas' character/personality. Anthony (EMAGEN) puts Nas' best interest first over his own because that's what a LOYAL manager job entails.

this is the way he is using buzz....he's using this type of buzz to release the album right after the anniversary...

notice how the news on the record is "exceedingly" quiet? remember we even had nasty like a year before LIG came out?

It's crazy how all over the place Nas is these days. From him rocking coachella then all this media blitz, then hearing an all Nas mix Sunday on the radio then the breakfast club this morning. Imagine it, people all over the nation hearing this brothas music on their morning commute. Props on his management team on this because only a few years ago you damn near heard Nas only on concerts and album releases.
