This came on randomly while on shuffle mode.

All 3 verses were fire, But this last verse.
People afraid of criticism
But I always put myself in a sacrificial position
They been know I ain't just rappin for fame
I got my old homie halfsister father askin for chains
Yep, I get it cash up, this paper don't matter
They see me from skinny to fatter, when I rap about war
They got a tendency to scatter, they ain't my backup no more
So now my enemies are at my front door
Cause anytime we mention our condition, our history or existence
They callin it reverse racism
Still to this day the streets torn - my brother Jung'
I'll always have a seat for him - not behind me, beside me
You'll always know where to find me
They say the close ones will hurt you
So let's keep a small circle
On the road to riches and diamond rings
In the land of the blind, the man with one eye is the king

Nasir:wow:

Gonna listen to the whole untitled album. That album was too dope.:ohlawd:

For some reason, I've been listening to Life is Good all day. Just having a random Nas week for some reason, started off with Illmatic and now I'm at his latest release. So I'm listening to Cherry Wine, and I'm watching the interview on how the song came together... then hearing about her manager crying telling Nas that Amy wrote those lyrics for him... :to::wow:

What do you think?

Is Nas holding back album info now and planning to do what Jay Z and Beyonce did with their surprise albums? It kind of seems like that.
*No album title after once promising a title
*promising a 2014 release but no specific timeframe
*already several surprises this year with each being more and more grand

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. If it will help him sell more records and really reach that platinum status quicker, I'm all for it.

Why not release the album the same date as the 20th anniversary of Illmatic.

Bridging The Gap: Nas & Don Omar Headline Soulfrito 2014

SOULFRITO The Urban Latin Music Festival, the nation's original and largest multicultural event for today's Millennial and U.S Hispanic audience, has announced its eclectic lineup of live performances, held at Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, February 22.

Tickets are now on sale from Ticketmaster at www.Soulfrito.com.

New York's celebrated lyricist, political activist, actor and hip-hop mogul Nas will be performing alongside the Puerto Rican actor and King of Reggaeton, Don Omar, as a headlining tribute to the synthesis of U.S and Hispanic artistic expression that now forms part of today's mainstream urban and pop music culture in America.

Amazing, right?

Both artists will be making their inaugural concert appearance on the same stage during the nation's 7th Annual Urban Latin Music Festival in South Florida. This headlining performance at SOULFRITO The Urban Latin Music Festival will be the first South Florida appearance by Nas since 2010.
