Just tried to think of my favourite Nas song. Can't narrow it down to one, can't even do a top 5 without saying joint 5/6 fave etc. so I reckon I can put together my top 10 Nas tracks for his bday.

its impossible ...catalog is too large and great

special shoutout to one of Nas most underrated songs tho

Ma, I'm sorry who the fukk I am, I can't trust my fans
Out of luck, no constructive plans
My friends stay powdered up, I'm so drunk, can't stand

You said if I would sober up, I'd be a powerful man
Turned out the street life, you prayed I wouldn't
But every church in the world can't save our children

I stayed out late, you heard shots, thought it would be
Your oldest son on the ground dead, but fortunately

Them bullets had some other names on it, the brother was blind
I hit the L, than we yell out, "It wasn't my time!"
I loaded up shells, one by one, you smelled blunts from my room door
Little Nasir was at war

one of the dopest verses Ive ever heard

Good morning delusional one! While you talk "shyt", I'll continue to enlighten you with facts.

Anyone (loser/you) can talk "shyt" about someone's alledged losses but only a legend (NaS) can rise above the hate and succeed regardless of what people say on forums, radio, blogs & magazines is not true. NaS always rises above the madness.

Make sure you stay connected on this forum to talk "shyt" about NaS' 40th B-Day Bash going down this weedend in 2 different states. LIFE IS GOOD...no it's GREAT!

Nas has experienced 1 true loss in his life...everything else has been exaggerated or fabricated.
You mad as fukk breh :comeon:

I reject your deposit :pachaha:

ALANTA — Nas says life has been really great since his 11th album, the critically acclaimed "Life Is Good," was released last year.
The album was nominated for four Grammy Awards, including best rap album, this year. He was honored with a Harvard University fellowship in his name. And he has a role in an upcoming movie.
"I'm happy with the ride that I'm on," the rapper said in an interview this week. "I'm excited about everything. My music benefits from my excitement right now. Everything that's happening in my life, I feel extremely blessed."
He is being honored with the Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellowship at Harvard's W.E.B. Du Bois Institute. The fellowship will assist students who excel in the arts "in connection with hip-hop."
Nas said he's working on new music, but he's more eager to see himself in the upcoming adaptation of Langston Hughes' "Black Nativity," which stars Forest Whitaker, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson. The film opens Nov. 27.
He'll celebrate his 40th birthday on Saturday, and he welcomes the jokes.
"It's only been a few jokes here and there, but I need to hear more," he said. "It's all fun."
