Take Jay out of the equation for a sec.

What if Nas could go back to 1996 (IWW) and promote his SAME albums with the same vigor and excitement that he's doing with LIG. Music remains the same but doing it in an era where albums still sold.

A video for Undying Love perhaps :mjpls:

Short teaser for Blaze a 50 maybe :manny:

A Creative video of Nas holding a notebook, and a visuals being shown that go along with each "new rhyme" and starts over every time he crumples the paper and starts a new verse in his Book Of Rhymes :leon:

u get my point...no artistic compromise is necessary
:youngsabo:

I get that.. thats good for core Nas fans (like us) to see. But not for commercial winning.

I dont think his business acumen is THAT bad.

I mean he did give us the Tyson doc and Rock the Bells.

But don't forget Willie Esco, that Big Momma House song, Ticker...I'm just having fun today.

I'll always respected Nas for not hogging the spotlight like :scusthov:

Life Is Good. :ahh:

I still wanted to see him and Aaliyah :stylin: in You Won't See Me Tonight. :to:

Its not bad at all. What should he do? attach himself to Ciroc or some other drink? or get a bogus clothing line that wont last generally past 3 years?

I mean Willie Esco was just endorsment deal (Never his label I believe), that Big Momma record was a soundtrack joint and Ticker was the standard cameo apperance by a rapper in a direct video which was the norm in late 90s/early 2000s

Esco was just having fun out there too :manny:

No stanism but you reckon this album was undershipped?

I mean it definetly was first week and I think even Nas acknowledged this on twitter but...did Def Jam stock up more orders after that?
