Does anyone else think the vocals on Life is Good are really clean? I don't know who did the mixing/mastering, but Nas' voice just cuts through everything and there's so much clarity.

Yep. LIG is always the example I use when comparing the mixing/mastering to the KD/Magic series.

The value of Nas's Bitcoin/ crypto must be crazy given how early he got into it

What Nas has been smart with is a lot of his investments are where a lot of the real money can be made. Lot of musicians stay in somewhat familiar territories with their investment i.e music itself, clothing, luxury alcohol. Now all of those of course make money but Nas was smart branching out way beyond the typical areas.

with Nas' current shows with the orchestra as part of the Illmatic anniversary, is the show just a performance of Illmatic or Illmatic + other songs?

Going to the show in London next month so curious to know what the exact show is like

Same as ghost and rae. They didn’t answer either. Meth picked Nas. But it was nas or jada.

Havoc stayed on code. AZ, large pro, ghost, rae all should be saying Nas without hesitation.

Speaking of Face, Ive seen atleast a handful of interviews and he always uses the dylan line for Nas as his favorite.

I’m SHOCKED at Ghost & Rae. Ghostface even this year when he announced his signing to Mass Appeal that Nas is the best. Rae said it recently too. RZA said in an interview 2 years ago that the only rapper he ever heard that was better than GZA was Nas. The Wu LOVE Nas.

I don't even take it serious. They have all said seperately on other formats that Nas is the greatest. I just think on Drink Champs they play it political because they out here trying to get money and they know Jay is petty. Speaking on Nas vs Jay can literally close some business opportunities.

I mean HOW petty can Jay be when J.Cole, Hov’s artist at the time, was calling Nas the GOAT, making songs like Let Nas Down and appearing on magazine covers with him?

When the last time u seen Jay even AROUND J Cole? Let alone did a song with him. Then there's the story where the person stole Cole's phone in NYC. Called Jay's number from it and didn't receive an answer. But called Jay's number from their own phone and he answered. Lol. It's pretty obvious to me that Jay and Cole don't have a relationship at all.

I went to his orchestra show in Virginia few months ago.. he does the entire Illmatic with an orchestra..... then does his usual setlist with his DJ for a good 40-45 mins after.
