I think this time around Nas and hit will go for the heavy hitter records and bangers. I think kd3 will go towards bigger features on this one too.

Nobody believes 100% everything she says :pachaha:. But it's clear she knows things inside the circle. Nobody talks 3 hours about studio sessions tours private events personal things for 3 hours without knowing something. She's the most creative liar in history if she is lying:mjlol:

that’s what I am hoping as well. Get a jada feature, Kodak (he’s done fivio and a boogie last two) and a remix to wu for the children with the wu like he did to that epmd song,,,, and we good money…

I think there's a chance we might not get the album before the end of the year. I hope I'm wrong tho.

I wouldn’t mind any of the people you named. However, I’m thinking even bigger names. Kendrick, Drake, j cole, future,Kodak, Rihanna, weeknd etc… come to mind as possible features for kd3. I can even see hit pulling off another jayz feature. Hit boy would provide jay and Nas with a banger.

i feel you. I always enjoy a jay feature and look forward. Still one of the few that hope that one day surprise us with a album together. Wouldn’t mind drake but don’t see him or Kendrick and maybe I’m petty but I don’t give a fukk about cole working with nas…. Future is washed to me. Would prefer lil baby if we going that route….

Lil baby is another name I forgot to mention. One thing she did mention on that twitter space is that j cole flew out personally to apologize to Nas in person.

Maybe it's just me, but the features (with some exceptions) have been the weakest links on the last 3 projects. I'd prefer a full solo at this point.

Features bring extra streaming as well as introducing Nas to other fan bases to open up his catalog that maybe haven’t before. I don’t feel like any of the features have ruined any of the projects.

Honestly the only questionable feature track to me was YKTV, which sounds like it was supposed to be on somebody else's album. Didn't fit the vibe of that album. The rest of the features across all three albums made sense and fit Nas to varying degrees.

I'd like more standout features like KD2 than KD1. The Lauryn Hill one for instance was well thought out. Not a big Em fan but that made sense and helped sell the album. So I'd like some shyt with dope relevant rappers (Kodak, Drake, etc), dope 90s rappers (Raekwon and/or Ghost, Jadakiss etc) and some nice r&b features (SZA, Jhene Aiko, etc). Preferably something where you only have like 4-6 features but each one is a standout.

I still think there is validity to the "backlash from fans" statement. Remember, Nas wouldn't even perform "You Owe Me" until maybe around 2012 to present. "Oochie Wally" and him doing his verse from "Hot Boyz" remix were songs he wouldn't touch until recent years. Thinking about it, Nas stayed away from anything that was remotely associated with big name, commercial producers up until Hip Hop Is Dead. Aside fotm the odd ball, one off Swizz track, we didn't the more mainstream producers on Nas albums.

I see people talking about Nas doing the Justin Bieber feature. I think both of them were on Def Jam at the time and it was a bonus track.

I think it's why he didn't release the music he did with Timbaland either. Nas has a fan base that sees a name and assumes what it will sound like. There was even some backlash against the Nas/HitBoy combo until the music dropped. Still, people want Nas with different producers.

The Firm
EPMD and Eminem
Lauryn Hill
Charlie Wilson
A$AP Rocky

Were great features, I'll admit I couldn't really care for the others but I don't really have a problem with them either, they didn't ruin anything atleast.
