I still wanna know what happened to the work he did with Dre, if he did something. With Lupe too. Plus he had another Track we heard a snippet of with Justice League.
That’s Nas though. He has so much shyt I’m sure he has forgotten. I wonder if someone on his team has actually gotten with Sony to take account of all the work that’s in the vaults? Not necessarily to be out now or ever for that matter but it just seems like it makes sense as an artist, to take stock of and see what my vaults look like. Especially since it’s been so long.
Crazy that LIG was 10 years ago holy sh1t time flies.
Love that album. The first hiphop album for Middle Aged men lol and Nas most personal album coming off his divorce
It’s crazy that a lot of the best songs were left off the original and are on the deluxe
Nasty
Roses
Where the love
Black bond
Add "Trust" to that list. It's a Top 5 album in his catalog. That album is still ridiculous:
Illmatic
Lost Tapes
It Was Written
Stillmatic
Life Is Good
Knocked God's Son out of the top 5 and KD2 and Magic are just outside the top 5.
The nas catalogue is just impressive and arguably the best solo of any rapper. I mean
Illmatic
It was written
The lost tapes
Stillmatic
Life Is good deluxe version
Kd2
Gods son
Magic
Kd1
It's nothing from excellent to classic
And not to mention the other who may be fan favorites like I am Untitled or Streets disciple

I was REALLY excited for the work he was doing with Dre. I thought that the “secret” project he was working on was going to be a Dr Dre produced album but I guess when Dre got that aneurysm and his wife tried to fukk him over he may have fallen back from active production work.
I THINK the Justice League track snippet was from the “Nas Album Done” days. A lot of snippets from that time period have been floating around through the years and they’ve all fire. I remember Timbaland was so excited to be working with him and he told an interviewer after MCHG dropped that Nas was getting his absolute BEST production work and then we got a snippet and it was BANGING. Then the snippet for Sinatra In The Sands dropped and that sounded real smooth. Then the Justice League track.
The Sony stuff we might never hear i’m afraid. Nas has said that the Sony vaults are staying closed. I guess he’s moved on from that period, plus Nas is known to reuse verses so it might be a lot of work we’ve already heard just with alternate production and Nas never seemed like the type to really care about alternates and stuff like that.
I’d assume based on his comments, that when the next Lost Tapes installment drops, it’ll be mostly Def Jam era content. I’m REALLY curious to hear the “Nas Album Done” timeline tracks.
Personnaly there's a few tracks I absolutely want to hear in full

Absolutely ridiculous. I need that in high definition qualityThat El Chapo verse is ridiculous!
He needs to respit that on a Hit-Boy beat.
