Depending on how long you workout I honestly think Magic is a PERFECT workout album just straight through

Also you could add The Pressure, The Cure, 40 Side, Composure and Store Run and you’ve got a solid hour of music there
KD 1 has a few chill laid back songs too. 27 summers, replace me, all bad

Nas was JUST at the Tribeca Film Festival promoting the Supreme Team Documentary. Nas definitely does promo he just doesn’t fukk with the gossipy bytch ass Hip Hop “Gatekeepers” who would rather focus on bullshyt other than the art.

I used to wish Nas would do more extensive promo work too but when I see these artists on promo runs nowadays they always get asked the dumbest hot take questions about who they fukkin, who they have beef with, EVERYTHING other than the project. I wouldn’t want to go through that crap either
True that part of the game sucks but there are avenues he could use to promote this stuff without the BS and he just doesn’t. Breakfast Club would be too gossipy for instance. But CTG is a huge Nas fan and has done multiple solo interviews with big artists that are serious, no BS. There are podcasts he could do and avoid the gossip. Not everyone is Drake/Cole/Kendrick/Em/Hov where you’re gonna do your numbers while completely ignoring promo. I get Nas isn’t looking for album sales but…getting out there and promoting the fact that you just directed a series seems important no? In an era where streaming companies are handing out money like candy, seems like a good way to evolve from Showtime to something bigger no? That’s my only point about the promo stuff.

I’d be doing anything to get the numbers up and get into the HBO Max offices.

I love TLT2. A lot of people like a lot of different songs on there so everyone’s final version might be different. If I was putting it out, I would have used the other version of Vernon family then taken off Queens wolf, Royalty and Jarreau of Rap. To me, they don’t fit the tone of the album the same way the other songs do but that’s just me. But how dope would it have been for Nas to have taken off Jarreau of Rap but it still landed on the commercial that it landed on? We all probably would be crying and begging for the vocals version then.

I still wanna know what happened to the work he did with Dre, if he did something. With Lupe too. Plus he had another Track we heard a snippet of with Justice League.

That’s Nas though. He has so much shyt I’m sure he has forgotten. I wonder if someone on his team has actually gotten with Sony to take account of all the work that’s in the vaults? Not necessarily to be out now or ever for that matter but it just seems like it makes sense as an artist, to take stock of and see what my vaults look like. Especially since it’s been so long.
