Seeing songs like Silent Murder and Life is Like a Dice Game pop back up remastered in 2021 is WILD. Some Nas tracks I've just become resigned to the fact that all we'll likely have is low quality versions.

I can't remember how happy I was to find a remastered version of One plus One w/Large Pro a little while back

yeah, I’m all for Nas Lost Tapes but I’m over getting some of the older Nasty Nas stuff that some of us really want to have remastered. Not at all saying that the newer stuff ain’t dope but I’m that type of collector that wants it ALL. I can live with the fact that we might get a surprise here or there like we have here this week. It’s all good.

Dope dude and will be in charge of a label one day.

Only thing I don’t like is the lines about finishing the song. Feels too meta and made me imagine a concert where folks are repeating those lines. It worked on We Major, another track where Nas commented on the writing process. Outside of that I fukk with the track tho.

I feel you on that. In a perfect world, Nas would’ve kept spittin his narrative on life and sticking with the concept, but at the same time we are just lucky to have the joint resurrected, I’ll live with it

Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
didn't steve stoute despise the "head of urban" title? (timestamped 41:30)

hope that guy gets to work for mass appeal/youtube music or a major label with the right intentions. spotify exclusives are a good start but plenty of people haven't heard the track because they don't use spotify for one reason or another.

I posted links on youtube and reddit for people to go check it out but spotify doesn't disclose the number of streams that their songs get like youtube videos but i think this track might be on some rap caviar playlists, etc

Random ass Nas thought :jbhmm:

How did Escobar 97' get on the MIB soundtrack :dead:

shyt has zero in common with the movie

Fire ass shyt tho:wow:

at that time the trackmasters produced for both nas and will smith and they were label mate at columbia

and tracks on soundtrack movies usually got zero connection with the movie itself except for some big singles. sometimes they reference the movie on the video clip though
