I didnt leak it myself, I found the link on the Nas subreddit while I was searching info on this cause I was mad hyped.

i'm talking about the way he sing. in the original record, he put emphasis on the a. "to maintain price of faaayme" and he put a higher note on the "life is like a dice gaame", on the new record i'ts kinda flattier.

I don't think it's a question of age. I myself tried it out loud and I was able to do both inflexions, it don't come out the same and I'm not a singer nor a rapper. but thats me being a perfectionist lol it's not that serious

So it turns out the original "Life Is Like A Dice Game" was probably recorded during IWW sessions.
I guess it's no coincidence the 2021 version is dropping at the same time as the IWW 25th anniversary re-issue, Cordae even mentioned being born the same year IWW was released on the track.

What if we're not getting King's Disease 2 but It Was Written 2 or It Was Re-Written ?

It was apparently produced by Easy Mo Bee, he mentioned Destiny on the original and she was born months after Illmatic's release.

Nas probably forgot he did this for IWW given that every youtube compilation/mixtape for "Pre-Illmatic" includes this track and they went with it
