that godson guy reposts a lot of old shyt and don't give you the year of when it happened...some of the nas stanning on some instagram pages is borderline embarrassing...unless a female is doing it, idk why they would publish certain posts and think people would be cool with it
I'm pretty sure it's a female running that page. But nah that hitboy post was from last night, so it is new.

Damn, I just refound this old ass article from 2002: Nas Unlimited - Interviews: Stillmatters

Excerpt:

Nas recorded 30 songs for Stillmatic, electing to include 16, and now unreleased gems such as "Du Rags" and "Everybody's Crazy" are surfacing on mixtapes. The MC said that new tracks as well as songs from the vaults will appear on his next three albums: Death of Escobar, Nastalgia and Nas Writes No More. Hip-hop's man of mystery hasn't been this visible in years.

ziggiy was right when he wrote that over here: https://www.thecoli.com/threads/nas...ol-1-album-review-vibe-magazine.486208/page-3

From my understanding. Death Of Escobar was originally supposed to be what ended up as Gods Son. Nas said in an interview with Allhiphop.com around 02 that he was planning to release only three more albums and then retire. Those album titles were Death Of Escobar/Nastalgia/Nas Writes No More.

Death Of Escobar was supposed to be album where Nas went crazy on the industry and dissed everybody. After his mother passed he calmed down and changed the direction of the album.

They may have repurposed the title to include unreleased songs and outtakes, and then decided to include actual songs instead of freestyles and finally settled on what became Lost Tapes.

Whole website: Nas Unlimited - pictures, lyrics, downloads, bio and more (you have to press the back button to go back to the main site like the old days)

Other interviews: Nas Unlimited - Interviews

refinding random lost articles is hard but i managed to dig up these...what other confirmation articles that people quote a lot but can't find?

Find the old interview from right before God Son dropped where Nas and Jungle were talking and Nas said then that he had enough music in the vault for a Lost Tapes 2, 3, 4 and 5. I think it’s the one where Jungle was talking about he saw Jay in the airport and told him that they were coming back at him.

damn, jungle quotes that airport incident a lot..was it an article or a radio interview?

The obvious one is this https://www.youtube.com/user/spideydk/videos but these are done right when Stillmatic was going to come out

I think that was the infamous “Soul Clap” interview where Jungle said he’d smash Juelz Santana’s head like a grapefruit. That was also the interview where they clowned Horse for being scared during the Roc-A-Fella beef. Talked about beef within QB and the response to Destroy & Rebuild. Talked about the beginnings of Nas’s career. And other stuff

HOW DID IT HAPPEN? Looking Back On How The Nas & Cam’ron Beef Popped Off (LIST)

https://allhiphop.com/features/the-bravehearts-new-york’s-bravest/

Found it...some websites don't let google/search engines scrape their articles but I found it...a lot of dead youtube links tho

Jungle: I will kill Santana with a f###### clap. I will soul clap his head like this [smacks hands together] into a sandwich like, you know what I’m saying? Them n#####, man. Freeky Zeeky got shot up, and their friend got killed and they didn’t do nothing. So I don’t even never want to hear them n##### talking about me.

wtf lmao...but didn't see him mentioning lost tapes

AllHipHop.com: Well, The first thing I wanted to ask y'all was about Horse.

Jungle: Who, son?

Wiz: He was just a feature, man.

Jungle: He said who?

Wiz: Dogs was a feature on the Oochie Wally.

Jungle: Nah, he was just a dude from the Bridge, you know what I'm saying? Hanging around us and we put him on the record. He not really built to go through all this shyt. Like, you gotta be really be built for the ups and downs of this business. He just wanted ups, you know what I'm saying? Then soon as Jay-Z started going at Nas, he disappeared. He wasn't brave.

AllHipHop.com: You mentioned Horse not wanting to be there for the downs. And beef has been so prevalent in hip-hop lately; can you speak on how if somebody just disses one person then the whole crew has to respond?

Jungle: Because that person is feeding that whole crew. Like, so if Nas is feeding me for the past 10 years and Jay-Z tries to assassinate his whole character and his whole being and tries to get him out the game he's hurting me. That's hurting me and my family. That's hurting all the people that Nas helps. Nas will be like, Man, it ain't nothing. I'll be like, Yes it is, son! You gotta dead that!

Wiz: Yes it is! Yeah!

Jungle: And Horse on the other hand is just scared. He look at it like they gon' beat us up.

Wiz: [Mocking Horse] Oh they gon' kill us. I'm the biggest one; I'm gon' to get shot. I'm bigger. They can see me first.

Jungle: They talking about Jungle is too rough or too wild to hang with he was scared to hang with me.

:laff:

Still gets me after all these years.
