One of the biggest Afrobeats artist IMO, its like him and Wizkid who I think did a lot to take the genre global

Its interesting Hit Boy got Nas linking up with both Davido and Burner Boy. Maybe something for a crossover joint. I can see it being dope because hes done well with Reggae artists (Sizzla, Damian, Spragga Benz) and I can sorta see some Afrobeat fitting that vibe to a varying degree, but I dont know if people will give it a fair shot seeing as for whatever reason people are tougher on him now when he goes out and does modern stuff (Even though hes always done that)

Again I think hes just recording for the sake of recording. Sorta like how he connected with Timbaland in 2013 and Swizz in 2016 just to store in the vault and see

I was told Benny the Butcher is releasing an album produced entirely by Hit Boy and I wouldnt be surprised if Nas collabo with Benny that Hit Boy did is on that.

All good points and theories. I'm excited for all of it. I'm ready all new material from Esco. Nas has been in the studio with alot of people. I'm excited what he has in the bag.

I'm going to check him. Nas has been in the studio with so many different artist the past few years. I think it's a good thing in general.

Yea he kills that everytime. I'm excited for the different people I've been seeing him in the studio with. It seems like him and hitboy have locked in.

Maybe its for Davido's project. tbh I dont know what him and Hit Boy because on one hand I like seeing Nas with newer aritsts like Fivio and Burna and Davido but I think casual mainstream fans see as him as old school and think he has no business with newer artists (Even though I still think he sounded dope on march madness remix, but Im probably in a small category wth this)

At this point. Nas 30 years in the game. He has always haters and always will. What makes him Nas is the brushes that off and does him. That's what makes him the goat.

Interesting decisions being made. Cole was prob gonna drop earlier this year. Kendrick was gonna headline Glastonbury back in June so we can assume he had an album ready to drop.

Lupe said on his Beats 1 interview that the picture of him and Nas chilling in the studio from last year was just them chilling but he wants to work

Said he wants to do a concept project based on Amy Winehouse and reached out to Nas to see if hes interested, he also said Eff it Life is Short and he reached out to Nas recently about if he wants to do an EP....but hasnt heard anything yet from him. So Lu definetly wants to do something with him.
