Came up on my Spotify playlist last night :scust:

“Squinted-eye gangsta, live in a skyscraper
Platinum Patron-drinker, stackin' that grown paper”

“Bandanas, hammers, MAC's and nina's
With the mismatched Pumas, like Shan in Queensbridge”

GOAT :wow:

God pushed me out his nuts
The Devil swallowed me up, I burnt a hole in his guts

:whoo: Breh...

Sounded maybe like he meant new song not an entirely new project.

If Nas is working with some newer producers for an updated sound I think Hit Boy is a VERY good choice. Dude makes bangers.

Also it would be nice to see if he could craft something with DJ Dahi. I was VERY impressed with the work he did on the new Childish Gambino album and in interviews he talks about the importance of vibing with the artists, which Nas always speaks on valuing.

Also, though they’re not “new” i’m still holding out hope we’ll see some more work Justice League, and call me crazy, but I personally feel as if Swizz Beatz has some STRONG songs with Nas in the vaults. I would bet good money a Nas/Swizz Beatz album would be an AOTY candidate.
Same to me.

Same to me.
Hit boy posted this response though. Sounds like it could be a little project. I predict an EP. I've seen them in the studio more than once. It's probably several songs they have worked on. See examples

Hit-Boy is what I think Nas should do

Give me an album of

4-5 HitBoy tracks
2-3 Alchemist
a Pete Rock
a Premo

and then another 3-6 tracks from whoever-- best of who's hot
or if that doesn't fit.. then the best production, just take the best beats

Nas is the GOAT, he can spit over anyone
so let him speak over whatever the 2020's sound like

Bob Dylan is still making music
Jay-Z is still spitting at a high level
There's no reason why the art of rap, the art of MC'ing, cannot continue at a high level
Martin Scorsese is 77 years old, and the Irishman is a masterpiece
Nas is never going to lose his ability to rhyme words
he's never going to lose eyes to prevent him from seeing what's going on the world
Nas is hip-hop, and the historians decades from now will agree
