The fact Nas still hasn't done a whole album with Premier will never not be disheartening...especially considering Premier has said on record countless times he'd do it at the drop of a dime. Why chase a "current" sound or whatever else you want to experiment with when you have such a huge, legendary name and so does Premier...and that brand of hip hop is GLOBAL. Nas could tour and kill off that album overseas for the rest of his career, call it "Real Hip Hop" or sumn,
He can tour for the rest of his career now.
No doubt, of course, that's Nas. I wasn't saying it like that...I'm just saying this album wouldn't be a miss or a dud or whatever I assume he thinks it would be. Why else wouldn't he do it when he knows everybody wants that? Kanye is a huge, billion dollar name but...ehh, that album is forgotten already. That would never happen with a Premier and Nas joint

I'm not familiar with Hit-boy's work. Can anyone recommend some of his best work? I was listening to LIG the other day and still wish that Nas followed that production formula one more time.

I bet he will gather up the old production crew with his final album. Whenever that happens. That would be a perfect way to retire down the line, with producers he started with. The fact Nas still hasn't done a whole album with Premier will never not be disheartening...especially considering Premier has said on record countless times he'd do it at the drop of a dime. Hit boy is a very talented producer. He is a good mix of new and older production. He is very diverse with it. Sonically, he is going to have on modern hip hop production. Its a good mixture in my opinion. Especially if it's just a few songs.I'm not familiar with Hit-boy's work. Can anyone recommend some of his best work?
