I don't see Nas doing a full album with Hit Boy but that's just me. I think he is reaching out to various producers, including Hit Boy, and making an album. Whether this process is something new or a continuation of the Nas Album Done era "thing" who knows.

I will say this though. I'm time to reach out to Premo as well. He's gotten some major placements, he's still relevant, he can still produce...and more importantly doing it on a big album (on a label) would open up the sample budget he can use. I want to see it. Not asking for a Nas Premo album. But we need another track or two at this point. Would be a good way to mix newer shyt (Hit Boy) with more traditional sounds and avoid sounding dated.

I think he just figuring stuff out
I liked the Hit Boy snippet but you already know Nas has to fight preception now.

The music he makes with Hit Boy might be cool but people will hate on it and pretend the beats are wack when they really aint

People really want him to work with Griselda or Ross or something.

With Primo, Im fine if he does but people always seem to never consider Preem's own work ethich might be part of the reason he dont connect with either Nas or Jay as much.

If the beats are dope most people won't hate. The snippet is dope. Obviously I'd hope the album isn't full of trap beats, that would be my only concern since that style doesn't fit Nas.

Personally I don't want to hear Nas over most Griselda shyt due to how slow their drums tend to be. Daringer has some good beats but those drums...nah.

Hit Boy's definetly more diverse than people realize and has done work with non trap artists so I can se them meshing and I liked the snippet
But i can already see people hating cause its not a name producer they want him with

Oh well. Let the ones that want to hate hate. He has always dealt with haters and he is still here 30 years later floating on songs. I'm ready for new esco!

This.

I was shocked to see so people talking about the beats on Lost Tapes 2 were wack. The lineup of producers on that album was crazy and it had producers that people wanted on a Nas album for over a decade. And it wasn't just a bunch of big names. For the most part, they delivered and gave Nas heat.

Yup I love lost tapes 2. I think when it comes to nas and beats some people that are followers just regurgitate what they see somebody else say. Most people dont think for themselves, that's why I pay them no attention.

Man it's ridiculous. Same people shytting on that album was the same people that didn't even realize Tanasia was on it before RZA played it.
