Y’all didn’t hear it though? It sounded like there was the thing with hit man and something else he didn’t want to talk about. Didn’t seem like it was two tracks. Seemed like it was two projects.

I think one was his album and I know hitboy has a project coming too. So many working on both?

I don't see Nas doing a full album with Hit Boy but that's just me. I think he is reaching out to various producers, including Hit Boy, and making an album. Whether this process is something new or a continuation of the Nas Album Done era "thing" who knows.

I will say this though. I'm time to reach out to Premo as well. He's gotten some major placements, he's still relevant, he can still produce...and more importantly doing it on a big album (on a label) would open up the sample budget he can use. I want to see it. Not asking for a Nas Premo album. But we need another track or two at this point. Would be a good way to mix newer shyt (Hit Boy) with more traditional sounds and avoid sounding dated.

Premo straight up said a few years ago that Nas was waiting on getting off Def Jam to work with Premo again so now we’ll see

I agree. I think he is just working with multiple producers to get a good mixture of old school and new school. Probably an accumulation of music from the nas album done era.

I'm ready for some new Esco to add to the collection. It will be interesting to see how artist drop albums this year.

If Nas is working with some newer producers for an updated sound I think Hit Boy is a VERY good choice. Dude makes bangers.

Also it would be nice to see if he could craft something with DJ Dahi. I was VERY impressed with the work he did on the new Childish Gambino album and in interviews he talks about the importance of vibing with the artists, which Nas always speaks on valuing.


Also, though they’re not “new” i’m still holding out hope we’ll see some more work Justice League, and call me crazy, but I personally feel as if Swizz Beatz has some STRONG songs with Nas in the vaults. I would bet good money a Nas/Swizz Beatz album would be an AOTY candidate.

I've seen Nas in the studio with hit boy on several occasions so it's probably multiple songs. One of the times he was in the studio with hit and burna boy.
