My kid is too young for live action stuff but uh when he is watching SpongeBob I usually am reading the newspaper, an online article of some sort or the coli so acting like you are forced to watch it like you are a fan is a bit disingenuous.

When they showed the door with the scene of Marc outside @ his mother's wake. Marc lied to Steven and said he didn't know where that was. So they did establish that Marc lies to Steven, therefore he could have been lying in episode 3 about killing those flunkies..
I will say I am unsure about the 3rd personality. I don't think it is the slam dunk some people think it is. If anything it could just be Khonshu.

I think the only thing they established is that before his mom’s death Marc had control of when his DID was used. Steven only lived when Marc allowed.

The man in the mirror/ seeing what the other does is recent. So the blackout in episode 3 is a first for them. So if there is a third, he may only have been able to surface because of the breakdown. Why the third sarcophagus was red. He might be a result of all the violence from his mom and Khonsu.

khonshu knew it was not Mark but thought it was someone else.
that is because there is a third (and possibly fourth person) that konshu is even closer with
that person is working against Mark and Steven

If there are dead bodies on the ground he has to say something to satisfy Steven right? Acting all "I don't know what happened." would be the only denial if he wanted to hide how big of a killer he is from Steven. Which again he was hiding and it was revealed this episode.
But I do agree if that is the case it would be dumb. But I am also not pretending I know exactly what's going on in regard to a 3rd personality. The way they are laying it out is confusing. I'm just guessing.
But the 3rd personality Jake character theory or whatever may be again relying too heavily on knowledge of the source material and seeing things you want to see and interpreting it that way. Jake Lockley could be Mephisto part 2, if you watch this without that knowledge it's possible to explain away and that would make it clunky storytelling at best or purposefully misleading at worst which we know Marvel Disney + shows have done both in the past.

Marc knew about the scarab when they got back to London. If Jake were running the operation in Europe, Marc wouldn’t know he had the scarab in the storage room.
