I’m gonna ask you again. Why would the show have a scene where Steven and Marc don’t remember something one of them did?.

Why would they have Oscar Isaac suddenly talking in a different accent from what we’ve seen in the show at the start of the episode?

They have 3 conversations with Ethan Hawke in this episode, why was his face bruised up at the start, but fine when he was talking with Marc and Steven?

When they showed the door with the scene of Marc outside @ his mother's wake. Marc lied to Steven and said he didn't know where that was. So they did establish that Marc lies to Steven, therefore he could have been lying in episode 3 about killing those flunkies..
I will say I am unsure about the 3rd personality. I don't think it is the slam dunk some people think it is. If anything it could just be Khonshu.

Ah ok sure I though he meant they specifically explained who killed that crew rather than just theorising, still, I think there is more evidence there to say there are 3 then not

My take on ep 5 is that this is Jake Lockley.

His accent (NY-ish) was completely different than Marc and Steven.

He was the only one with a busted nose in the psych asylum.

• Marc is the real identity that suffered the mental abuse.
• Steven was created to deal with his mental abuse trauma.
• Jake is the anger manifested from the mental abuse. Which is why he’s so violent. (He was the one that took that object from the table to attack Arthur Harrow and got sedated)

Gotcha, the comic run that this show is mostly based on had the origin of Khonshu choosing Marc as a kid, purposely breaking his mind in order to be the perfect avatar for him. It's possible they are doing that here.

makes sense. that is how they keep marc a hero for the audience.

i usually roll my eyes are people playing crazy on tv as it tends to be written hacky, but this was done well. instead of just making him crazy for the sake of crazy, they actually explained why. well done.
