Rumors building that the finale is 42 gotdamn minutes
Marc knew about the scarab when they got back to London. If Jake were running the operation in Europe, Marc wouldn’t know he had the scarab in the storage room.
You understand being a womanizer means he wouldn’t care about Steven kissing Layla?
Khonshu: "give Mark back the body."
Khonshu: "oh the idiot is in charge"
means 3 people.
1. Mark.
2. Steven.
3. The person Khonshu initially thought he was talking to in the above statements, before Khonshu realised that "the idiot was in charge".
. . . act like you never heard of or knew this character before and watch it again.
Khonshu: "give Mark back the body."
*command goes ignored and body looks confused*
Khonshu: "oh the idiot is in charge"
Kho shu could just be frustrated with the lack of progress on his command and calls him an idiot out of frustration.
one word, one name. who did Khonshu think he was talking to when he said "give Mark back the body"?
Steven, and when he didn't give it to him he called him an idiot. And like I said you are probably right, just saying it's possible they are being misleading on purpose or not. They did Ralph Boner on purpose as an obvious misdirect. It's not unprecedented.
I never said anything about the number of personalities.you are assuming two only. I never said that.
filling in the blanks will only confuse you.
Mark: (ep1 to Steven) "give me the body"
does not mean that everytime Steven blanked out it was Mark.
the statement in the plot is a leading statement to make you, the audience, assume that.
in fact Mark had (and still has) to ask for the body. Jake does not.
The entire scene preceding the punch was Steven and Marc fighting about Layla. And then a punch about Layla and you’re I’m confused for not filling in the blanks?filling in the blanks will only confuse you.
no it does not.
I never said anything about the number of personalities.
I’m talking about control and information.
Steven only had knowledge Marc allowed. Marc said to Layla he had it under control until a few months ago (moms funeral) and we saw him hand over control in a moment of stress to Steven on the street and he was confused and calling his mom.
So based on that Marc didn’t have to ask for control until recently which is why things are breaking down.
Recently is two months. We know when his mom died.In Episode 1 Mark cannot "take control" without Steven allowing it.
in Episode 4 Mark cannot "take control" without Steven allowing it.
so "recently" refers to a point before the in-world narrtaive in episode one begins.
Meanwhile someone else (Jake) has been taking control since episode 1 through to episode 3 without asking for permission.
Recently is two months. We know when his mom died.
We saw Marc turn to Steven on the street without a mirror or needing to talk and Steven had no memory of why he was there.
Now they are trading places with knowledge in tact.
Steven in episode 1 is tying himself down cause he’s sleepwalking.
You think your drunkard Jake cares to buy and new fish or not set off the traps? Sounds more Marc who is protecting Steven.
I think there’s a third person but I think you are looking at stuff that was meant to build a mystery narrative between Steven and Marc but doesn’t actually make sense. So it seems like a third person.none of that addresses what I said.
episodes 1 - 4 mark has no power over steven.
episodes 1 - 3 someone else has power over steven.
so simple even sesame street could cover it.
that is a case of a 3rd person, unreliable narration or an inconsistent script.

Who was writing those postcards as his mom? Jake? Marc?
Steven said the London apartment was his mom’s old place but she’s American and married for thirty years. Is Steven stupid?
