From the 1st 2 episodes I've seen, I feel like Ethan and Oscar are giving these characters far more than they deserve.

i feel like this is a decent show, but after this he should get a movie with a proper budget or be heavily involved in somebody else's movie.

A lot of people seem to be praising this show for where it COULD go rather than where it DID. Where it went is nowhere. I don't care about any of the characters outside of Marc/Steven. The main character has 3 personalities in his head and we're just now exploring that... barely? I don't care about Layla, her motivations are what... her dad died? The writing for this show is fukking awful.

There were so many points at which I was like, "why are they doing this? what is happening?". Like...why did the guys with a whole machine gun on a truck just stare at Layla and basically let her escape? Why did the mummy just keep screaming at her while she was pinned? We just saw him murk a dude and start mummifying him.

I'm just frustrated watching this because there are so many things that could be better. I feel like if this was a Netflix show A La Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, it would be so much more tightly written and choreographed. I don't know who the fukk this show is meant for outside of like hardcore comic fans that want to see live action versions of the characters; that isn't enough.

It took me a while to see the vision but I understand now the purpose of this mini-series. Its more than just an intro to Moon Knight, this story is about all of Moon Knight's personalities (Marc, Steven & eventually Jake) getting cool and accepting each other and working together.

Once that gets squared away and settled it'll be easier to use him for traditional team-up Marvel flicks and cross over content.

The problem with Marvel in a nut shell is the mindset behind this

That was the premise of the Lemire run, but it also has to be interesting to get there.

for me, it took them too long to get to this point.

Yeah, definitely the most focused episode of the season with a dive into the psyche of Marc/Steven w/seeing how they came to be. Great performance by Oscar in this episode. Really liked Ethan Hawke as the doctor as well.

Curious how the finale next week will wrap everything up. Hopefully it's longer than the standard 50 mins or so, most episodes have been.
