The execution of the Archie story was poor. From the struggle newscaster to the struggle "That was my son's father" acting.
Black is such a terrible actor that there's no way his cousin would have bought his fake phone call. Who wouldn't check their phone afterwards?
The struggle acting of the girl that saw Shane clapped up.
"Hey watch where you're going? I should kill you for making me drop my Armadale vodka!" *cue expositional shot focused on bottle for 30 seconds*

Overall good episode. If they get a Season 3 Netflix deal they're going to have to come up with a lot of new ideas.

Gotdamn Miz and Rafe caught 7 homicides in ONE DAY WEARING THE SAME OUTFIT!

Why Rafe complaining about killing Bobby Shmurda lookalike when he killed a broad? ... but it looks like they're becoming an alliance, right?

Few things I'd like to note

1. When these nikkas commit homicides (way too much but lets forget about that for now)... you're suppose to boogie right away. Rafe did some Dexter type shyt after killing Jessica. I never hear sirens after all these bodies... and this is New York

2. I'm assuming a network or cable will pick this up next year. The writing will be more polished. Sometimes in this show the characters are alone and say shyt like "Damn, I'm hungry", "I gotta piss", "What's taking this guy so long?" . It's sloppy writing

When we're alone we very rarely say these things. The writers gotta trust in the viewer that they will understand the actions of the character without them speaking. For example, in the end when we see Choppa, we can understand he misses his friend, it's just another day on the block and is extra on guard, all wrapped in one. He shows all of that without saying a word (he's also one of the better actors on the show)


3. The montage at the end was probably the best directing they've done yet... reminded me of how they do The Wire after every season
