The jumping around timelines takes away from the story IMO.
It's called The Last Dance, but it's covering everything. It's almost like they wanted to edit this like an album on shuffle. Not sure why they went with that approach, the content is golden and it doesn't need any "spicing" up to maintain viewers interest.
It felt like they made a conscious effort not to show Isiah Thomas putting in any work on here. No highlights at all. If one of the goals for this documentary is to show how fierce the Bulls journey was to reach the top, then I feel like they should have highlighted the opposing stars more. I might be in the minority, but with the story skipping to the 98 season, and back to the 90/91 runs, it made it seem like they skimmed over the Pistons rivalry here
Who needs burner accounts with friends like these
After that I believe the league became less about promoting teams and more on promoting individual players..NBC pushed the vs thing to the tilt
I meant among us as fans. We wouldnt know who these guys were if people didnt give it attention. Its entourage clout chasing. Ignore them.I remember the trainer talking crazy about Bron and Kuzma came out and addressed it.
My god i remember playing this after the 91 finals
I appreciate them going back to the early 90s tho, because while I remember the Bulls winning, I was only 5 when they won 91. So for younger sports fans, this is all fresh and new for a lot of them.I kinda see where you're coming from.
This DOC is benefitting a little bit from the corona shyt(No Sports) Dont get me wrong its still piff...great stuff. Its easier to see the stuff we already know again...cause we dont get much else to watch. Now we'd be watching the playoffs, etc.
However, the Pistons 30/30 showcased how much of a threat Jordan and the Bulls were. This Doc just showed nothing but the Pistons being physical.
They build it as The Last Dance but they are trying to capture that OJ Made in America style, but idk. Its basically repeating a lot of stuff we already know. As I said before I thought this was going to be a pure Hoop Dreams (GOAT DOC) style follow of the Bulls in 98. The jumping back and forth seems like a way to stretch this out some more/make it more entertaining.
and this is a professional.
LeAchilles need to accept the fact he built this legacy of failures on the largest stage. 3-6 is still 3-6.That's a bad look, 2nd week in a row that Bron's camp is being salty
