Bobby Knight told the Rockets GM that they absolutely need to take Jordan at #1, when they told him they needed a center, he told them then ‘pick Michael and play him at center’

Obviously that’s what happened, hence me saying if Houston had the FORESIGHT. They went twin towers instead of a dynamic big-guard combo (ala Kareem-Magic).

That Jordan/Malone combo is an interesting what if (got Oakley over Malone)

I also wonder how much further Jordan could have pushed Clyde Drexler if he went to the Blazers. Looking back it seems like he should have been better despite how great he was.
