Hakeem was going to #1 no matter who had the pick. The question was, Portland passing on MJ.
Obviously that’s what happened, hence me saying if Houston had the FORESIGHT. They went twin towers instead of a dynamic big-guard combo (ala Kareem-Magic).

WHAT:damn:

I just read an article that Spike never got the opportunity to pitch to Mike regarding this footage. I literally REFUSE to believe that Spike fukking Lee wouldn’t “know what to do”’with this footage.
I believe he touched on it when he was on bill simmons podcast last year

still remember watching the shrug game as a seven year old on the tv in the kitchen. Feel really blessed to witness MJ, KOBE and Bron ball.
Facts i was fortunate enough to witness Jordan at very young age upclose n later on earned his respect as a basketball player before I go in hs. I got to see LeBron twice upclose in 02 at an AAU event n 03 at roundball classic I was at their all American practice n all American game, I saw Kobe play bulls in 00 these 3 players changed the game in their eras.if it wasn't for basketball I wouldn't even known how legendary shyt would be 20yrs later I can actually tell ppl I've witnessed all 3 as well rip Kobe

Been blessed in my lifetime to have seen Michael Jordan play in person

My goat

met Kobe last year and shook his hand

met Lebron

it’s crazy cuz I was such a Jordan fan growing up. My first shoes were the 1s my uncle got for me in 85...

I used to hate Kobe growing up cuz I felt like he was just a copy cat version of Jordan. Yet the older I grew into manhood and really understood the amount of dedication that it took to get to his level I really had an appreciation for him. And when I met him, dude was cool as hell and made you feel like you were the only person in the room when interacting. My pops has met Jordan a few times and has a few funny ass stories. I’m blessed to have seen the 3 greatest basketball talents of my generation in person with my own eyes.

RIP to Bean :(

you goin wait until the season starts to have surgery AND demand a trade when you know it's our last year together ? :mjtf:

I'm swinging on Scottie

Nah fukk that Scottie had had ENOUGH.

They disrespected the fukk outta Scottie with not only the contract issue, but the OPEN trade rumors.

If you rewatch the second episode, THATS what made Scottie mad. Krause being a bytch and smiling in Pippen’s face while not even hinting that he was on the trade bloc@k. Every NBA star whose been traded without warning has been angry about that. You give your heart and soul to a team, for PEANUTS as their second best player and you have to find out from the media that you about to get the boot? Like a common street whore?!?!

I understand why Pippen was ready to light that whole arena on fire. Dude accepted he would always and forever be number 2 to the greatest player of all time. Gets paid like a scrub when he’s an all star. And then his name is in all these trade rumors and his GM can talk about it openly to the PRESS but not HIM?!?!
