Liquid and Solid are twins. Solidus was made later without any modifications to his genes so he was "perfect" per say.

If you notice when Big Boss's face is covered in blood his horn grows like Pinnocio, so that could be a clue that something about those scenes isnt completely accurate. I think misdirection would support it being Sniper Wolf more than it being Paz. The stitches on the girls stomach and her hair would lead you to think its Paz, when common sense says it cant really be Paz.
