)Here's my theory from the very beginning since they announced that Keifer Sutherland would be the new voice of Big Boss
I believe that both Liquid, and Solid Snake will appear in this game as younger versions of themselves, and even possibly older depending on how Kojima plays with the time line. As soon as they announced that Keifer Sutherland would be the new voice I immediately thought that the only reason to do this would be so that the voice of Big Boss and the voice of Solid Snake sound different when they end up in scenes together. In the last trailer, the blonde haired boy is pretty much confirmed to be liquid in the last few seconds. They show him hopping into Metal Gear Rex the same exact way he did in MGS for PS1 and in the end as the trailer fades to black they show what is obviously an adult Liquid Snake looking down.
