I’m shocked they didn’t fast track Shang-Chi’s sequel after its success. A shining light in an otherwise sloppy Phase 4. Audiences for the most part got behind the character quick.
Really wanted Drew Goddard to direct Spidey 4 but he looks to be busy with The Matrix. The pipeline that project has in connection with Daredevil has me intrigued, if the rumors are true of Kingpin’s involvement. If they can bring in a capable director whose name is not Jon Watts, and preferably someone who can rev up those action bits, I would be pleased.
And as much of a curveball that Shalla-Bal news was yesterday, I still find myself excited for the Fantastic Four. Really liking what Shakman is cooking up there. The poster they dropped back in February had more heart than a majority of projects that came after Endgame.
