i'll beat my dead horse again. they took all the wrong takeaways from Wandavision. a good show overall, but since it was the first thing covid starved people saw, they thought, "holy shyt, the people fukkin love Scarlet Witch. we should turn this into 27 projects." first disney + show, first bit of new exciting content from basically anyone after being couped up in the house to over a year, of course everyone is gonna praise it. now we've got 4 more projects with her dumbass kids coming, a spinoff of Agatha, a Vision show, etc. if the first show out of covid was Moon Knight, we'd be watching "That Hippo Chick" on Disney+ by June

MCU is dead in the water. Feige has been exposed. I'm not saying creh didn't have any good ideas but his ideas are nothing without great storytellers, directors and writers who can take those ideas and really flesh them out.
I'm starting to think Marvel is a victim of its own hubris. They lost all the people who made them great simply cause they didn't want to pay them. One of the things that nobody talks about is yes the sacrifice of @Ironman was a great plot device but truth is, they just didn't want to keep cutting them large checks to RDJ. If they only had to pay him $500k per movie, I promise you RDJ would still be a part of the MCU.
Even with the directors... the Russos made money for you. They printed money for you. Yeah they wanted to move on but you can't tell me that if you put enough zeros on that check, that they wouldn't stick around happily.
The folks at marvel started believing their own hype. Feige started believing his own hype. He thought that just cause he had the idea, that the directors and writers didn't matter. That they couldn't lose. That's why they started bringing over writers from Rick and Morty and all of that foolishness. They thought the writers didn't matter. They started taking the people who built the MCU for granted and now look at them.
They are spinning their wheels dead in the water. Deadpool is gonna make money because of the cameos same as No Way Home. But not because it's a good movie. And I bet you that the X Men and all of their other content is going to be mid and trash.
They don't have it anymore because they don't have the people anymore. If I was there, id be on the phone begging the Russos, begging RDJ, begging these folks to come back.
But @Bryan Danielson made the call that the Mouse doesn't beg and made it a part of their mission statement so
oh well.

not saying Wandavision was bad, it just benefitted a ton from being first up out of covid. Wanda got a massive push because of it, and now we gotta keep seeing shyt with her stupidass kids.
Moon Knight is fukkin awful, but you better believe if it was the first marvel content in ~2 years, it would have been better received.
